Learn more about the books of the bible here in an easily digestible format!  This site was created from a lack of clear & concise biblical information I was trying to find online.  As a new Christian, I looked high and low for a site that simply explained the books of the bible.  Remember the "Cliff's Notes" books from 80's-90's?  I was looking for something like that but for the books within the bible.

The bible is difficult to read from cover to cover without some sort of guide or the helpful notes within a study Bible.  I was looking for something that gave more context and covered these questions:

• What was each book in the Bible about?
• Who wrote the book?
• Who is the audience the writher/author is speaking to?
• Historical time-frame the book was written in
• Fun facts/"Did you know?" type of information
• A quick one or two sentence summary of what that book in the bible is about.

Getting this background and these questions answered was important for me because it laid the background that I needed to read the bible, understand historical context, understand sermons better, and be more knowledgeable about the Bible and my Christian faith.  I feel like having this foundation is so important so that you can intelligently speak about it with other people and ultimately be more connected to the Word of God!

I'm sure there are other people out there who have recently accepted Jesus Christ as their savior and have these same questions that I did... so I created this site to hopefully help answer those questions.  This is, of course, a work in progress but rest assured I'm trying to make this as accurate and factual as possible as I read the Bible and various other books to help best summarize the books of the Bible for you!
